virat Kohli’s Priceless Reaction to Dressing Room Prank After Bat Goes Missing: “Sabko Pata Tha Na?”

Royal Challengers Bengaluru pulled off a cheeky prank on Virat Kohli after their solid win over Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur on Monday—but the mood in the dressing room was as upbeat as their performance on the field.

After helping RCB chase down 174 with ease, Kohli found himself the target of a harmless joke led by teammate Tim David. In a video shared by the franchise on social media, David is seen sneaking one of Kohli’s bats from his kitbag, egged on by teammates.

“I want to see how long it takes Virat to realise we’ve taken one of his bats,” David said with a grin.

It didn’t take long. Kohli, clearly puzzled, opened his kit and noticed something off. “I counted my bats yesterday. It was seven. It’s six now,” he said, eyebrows raised.

A quick search later, he found the missing bat tucked away in someone else’s bag. David, trying to play innocent, joked, “I didn’t take it—I just borrowed it.”

As laughter echoed through the room, Kohli looked around, smiled, and asked, “Sabko pata tha na? (Everyone knew, right?)”

But Kohli wasn’t just in the news for being a good sport.

Earlier in the evening, he made history once again, smashing his 100th T20 half-century—becoming only the second player to ever do so. The only other name in that elite club? David Warner, who has 108.

Kohli anchored RCB’s chase perfectly, scoring an unbeaten 62 off 45 balls. While opener Phil Salt went hard early with a blistering 65 off 33, Kohli kept the scoreboard moving with smart strike rotation and calm shot selection.

He sealed his milestone in the 15th over, lofting a beautifully-timed shot over long-on for six. A dropped catch early in his innings could’ve changed the story, but Rajasthan failed to make it count—and Kohli made them pay.

Together with Devdutt Padikkal, he stitched a steady 83-run stand to finish the job. RCB wrapped up the match with nine wickets in hand and climbed to third place on the table with eight points.

It was a night of fun, records, and another reminder: prank or pressure, Virat Kohli always finds a way to steal the spotlight.
