Irfan Pathan Gives A Savage Reply To Waqar Younis For Targeting Team India

The 15th edition of the Asia Cup cricket tournament is on its way. It will go on from the month of August till September and is scheduled to take place in the United Arab Emirates. Team India is all geared up for the 2022 Asia Cup.

However, on Saturday, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) disclosed that ace pacer Shaheen Afridi has been ruled out of the upcoming 2022 Asia Cup due to a knee injury.

Reacting to the big news, former Pakistani pacer Waqar Younis made a tweet targeting the Indian cricket team

Waqar Younis made the tweet as soon as the PCB announced that Afridi won’t be playing in the Asia cup due to his serious injury. Shaheen Afridi is suffering a right knee ligament injury. He had this injury during the 1st Test against Sri Lanka that took place last month and since then he has not been seen on-field.

This gave Waqar Younis a chance to take a dig at the men in blue by quoting how the absence of Afridi would be a big comfort for the Indians.

Waqar Younis tweeted,

Shaheen’s injury Big relief for the Indian top order batsmen. Sad we won’t be seeing him in #AsiaCup2022 Get fit soon Champ @iShaheenAfridi

Although, he has been receiving a lot of replies and trolling on his tweet by Indian fans. Out of all the replies, the most subtle and hilarious was the one by former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan.
