Rohit Sharma Responds Like A Hitman When A Fan Asks Him For Advice On Pull Shot

Rohit Sharma, the new Indian white-ball captain, is regarded as one of the top pull shot players in the world.

Rohit Sharma has made the pull shot seem amazing, and the fact that he does so off the front foot is impressive. Hitting a pull shot off the back foot, which provides the batsman a few more milliseconds to gauge the length of the ball and hit it in the air or along the ground, is no easy task.

Rohit, on the other hand, struck the pull shot off the front foot, demonstrating his brilliance by having enough time to evaluate the length of the ball a second earlier than the rest of the batsmen and hitting the ball, which generally sails over the boundary for a six. Rohit seldom attempts to keep the ball on the ground, preferring to hit it as hard as he can.

When a fan approached him for tips on how to improve the technique, the batsman didn’t disappoint with easy instruction.

On Twitter, a fan asked Rohit a question, and to everyone’s surprise, the Indian player answered. While playing the pull shot, the Twitter user was having problems producing enough power.

The fan wrote on Twitter while tagging Rohit Sharma in the same tweet,

“Rohit, need your help on perfecting my pull shot. Not able to generate power when I am trying to control it.”

While replying to his fan, Rohit wrote,

“Don’t worry… if the bowler pitches it short, just slice it. What say, @mipaltan?.”

Rohit Sharma took over as T20 captain when Virat Kohli resigned after the T20 World Cup in 2021, and the BCCI later designated him the ODI captain as well. While releasing the Indian team for the visit to South Africa, the selectors also stated that Rohit will captain the ODI squad.

Rohit Sharma, on the other hand, had a hamstring injury and was unable to heal in time for the South Africa tour, therefore KL Rahul was selected as the ODI captain for the three-match series.

BCCI chief selector Chetan Sharma told about his rehabilitation and injury,

“We decided not to send him (Rohit) because he can work on his muscles. Needs to get 100% fit for World Cup. All selectors had a good chat with Rohit.”

According to the latest reports, Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, and Ravichandran Ashwin are the front-runners to be the next India Test captain, with many believing that a stop-gap arrangement like Rohit will be a fantastic method to develop someone younger like KL Rahul or Rishabh Pant to take over when the time comes.
